Investacorp Hosts Leaders Forum for Top Performing Advisors
An annual event, the Leaders Forum brings together the top performing Investacorp financial advisors to share best practices, discuss latest industry developments, improve client engagement and ultimately enjoy the relaxation and amenities that accompany a 5-star resort.
This year’s event was held March 20-23 at the Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain in Tucson, Arizona. Thirty-eight Investacorp advisors and their guests spent the first half of each day participating in engaging learning opportunities, followed by social activities unique to the Tortolita Mountains, including a cattle drive, jeep tours and a desert hike through trails that the Hohokam Indians occupied years ago.
Advisors and their guests enjoyed many on-site amenities including a luxurious spa, 27-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course and three swimming pools.
Presentations included an interactive practice management session facilitated by Chris Kirby, Business Consultant and Jeff Sietstra, Manager, from the Ladenburg Practice Management Group. The session focused on helping advisors to better grow their practices with an emphasis on sustainability, business continuity and succession planning.
Also, Phil Blancato, President and CEO of Ladenburg Thalmann Asset Management and Chase Bolding, Senior Director of Structured Investments Invesco, highlighted key findings and opportunities within the alternative marketplace and how advisors can better incorporate alternatives within client portfolios.
A Word from Investacorp President & CEO
“The Leaders Forum is Investacorp’s way of thanking our most devoted financial advisors for their dedication to the financial advice industry and helping investors reach their financial goals,” said Patrick Farrell, Investacorp President and CEO. “It’s also important to break away from the office to gain new industry insights as well as collaborate with other like-minded individuals, specifically advisors who place their clients’ best interests at the forefront of their business development strategies. However, the event is not all business, it’s equally about relaxing and recharging which is a necessity for growth-oriented entrepreneurs.”
Looking Forward to 2020
Plans are already underway for Investacorp’s 2020 Leaders Forum. The event will be held in March at the Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage in Palm Springs, California. Mountain adventures, golf and exquisite culinary offerings are sure to be part of the festivities.
