New Pioneers Program History
Established in 2018 by Investacorp, Inc., the New Pioneers Program seeks to provide financial assistance to college students interested in pursuing a career in the financial services industry. The scholarships are for the son or daughter of Investacorp advisors or clients. Recipients are selected based upon academic performance, community involvement, extracurricular activities and response to the application essay.
The New Pioneers Program complements Investacorp’s Multigenerational Consulting Solutions (MCS) platform, including its mission to prepare the next generation of independent financial advisors with the skills needed to provide professional and experienced financial advice.
A Word from Investacorp’s President & CEO
“The Investacorp family is delighted to extend our 2019 New Pioneers Program scholarships to Blake and Madison,” said Patrick Farrell, Investacorp President and CEO. “Both individuals are dedicated students, each attaining academic honors and actively collaborating within their educational communities. Investacorp’s New Pioneers Program is based on the premise that financial planning should be available to everyone, ultimately helping our neighbors achieve financial security. A key step in creating such freedom is supporting the very people providing the financial education, including those working toward a wealth management career, such as Blake and Madison. Similarly, both recipients’ application essays clearly expressed their desire to help others achieve long-term financial goals. In the future, I hope to have the opportunity to work with Blake and Madison, two people striving to make a positive impact in others’ lives. In the meantime, I’m honored to work alongside their fathers.”
